Advisory Board

Chair of Puerto Asís Investments , an investment platform with a global and long-term vision, with focus in different strategies, sectors and geographies. Previously, he was president and CEO of ITL, the first private container port in Argentina.

Karina Román is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the UTDT; member of the Advisory Council of CIPPEC; co-founder and President of the Board of Directors of Argentina Debate; co-founder and member of the Board of Directors Argentinos por la Education; co-founder of Hacela Rodar; member of the Ashoka Support Network and the TEDxRdelaP Accelerator.

She is also an angel investor and mentor for social innovation projects.

Rudecindo is partner at Columbus Zuma Investment Banking. He has worked in investment banking for more than 25 years. He has vast experience in real estate, new business development and private equity.

Before joining Columbus, Rudecindo worked as CEO of one of the most important family offices in the Middle East located in Dubai and Riyadh, where he generated real estate projects for US$900 million, developed new businesses and was in charge of financing and the origination of private equity transactions.

Prior to this experience, he worked in the Corporate and Investment Banking area at Citibank in Buenos Aires and New York.

Partners

Since 2008 Kony has been a Senior Partner at Magna Capital, leading its acquisitions in various industries in more than 20 companies.

Previously, Kony was Managing Director of Corporate and Investment Banking at Citibank. He previously worked for the Southern Cross Group and the Boston Consulting Group.

Kony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from UCA and an MBA from Duke University.

Since 2009 Hernán has been Partner at Magna with responsibilities in the implementation and administration of investment funds throughout LatAm and the USA.

Previously, he was part of Citibank’s investment banking division for more than seven years.

Hernán holds a Law degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina, LL.M from Cornell University and has been a member of the New York State Bar since 2002.

Diego is an entrepreneur and angel investor. He is co-founder of Digital House Coding School, one of the top coding schools in LATAM, Brubank, a 100% digital bank from Argentina, and BitPatagonia, a blockchain services company.

Previously, he was founder of Bumeran, the largest job platform in Latin America. He is also an experienced director with a proven track record in the telecommunications industry.

Investment Team

Cristian Navarro joined Magna in 2011 with responsibilities in the analysis, execution and oversight of Magna’s investments throughout LatAm. He is board member for several of the group portfolio companies.

Previously, he served at Compass Lexecon as off-shore associate of the NY Office and at Deloitte as a Consultant. Cristian holds a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a Master’s Degree in Finance from UTDT.

Carolina Campos joined Magna Capital in 2016, participating in the evaluation of investment opportunities and in the management control of the portfolio companies.

She previously held various positions in the Finance department of Tenaris S.A. and in Telecom Argentina. Carolina has a degree in business administration and national public accountant (UCA), and a Master in Finance (UTDT).
